Dr. Herndon received his medical degree in 1991 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also completed his residency in ophthalmology. Dr. Herndon then undertook a Fellowship in glaucoma at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Herndon has an interest in exploring better medical and surgical ways to treat patients and continues to be involved in clinical trials utilizing novel drug-delivery systems and new surgical procedures. He also has a research interest in the differential burden of glaucoma on African-derived populations. If you are registering a guest or if you otherwise owe a fee, use the paper form which can be downloaded in PDF format.
Annual COS dues includes attendance at the monthly dinners. Therefore, there is no charge for members in good standing.*
For non-members, guests and members in arrears, the registration fee is $75. Residents & fellows in training are not charged, but advance registration is still required.
