The History of COS
The Chicago Ophthalmological Society has a long and rich history leading the way in educational opportunities for the ophthalmic community in the Chicago area. Founded in 1893, the COS continues to thrive as a member-driven organization.

Members or individuals interested in the Chicago ophthalmic community are encouraged to share historical photos with the COS. We simply ask that pictures be submitted in "JPG" electronic format, and that they be free of any copyright restrictions. Contact the COS administrative office if you have a photo to share.
