About this year's Krill Lecturer

Alexander J. Brucker, MD is the Chief, Retina and Vitreous Service, Vice Chair for Strategic Planning and the Founder's Professor in Retinal and Vitreous Diseases in Ophthalmology at the Scheie Eye Institute of the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.  He earned his medical degree in 1972 from the New York Medical College and completed his residency in ophthalmology at The Friedenwald Institute, Maryland General Hospital in 1976.  Dr. Brucker received fellowship training in vitrectomy and retinal detachment at the Wilmer Ophthalmologic Institute, Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore (1977).  Dr. Brucker's research focuses on three main areas:  age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal, vitreous and retinovascular diseases.

Please register no later than December 6th. Members of the COS can register using the on-line form. If you are registering a guest or if you otherwise owe a fee, use the paper form which can be downloaded in PDF format. Annual COS dues includes attendance at the monthly dinners. Therefore, there is no charge for members in good standing.*   For non-members, guests and members in arrears, the registration fee is $75.  Rabb Retina Study Group members, as well as residents & fellows in training are not charged, but advance registration is still required.
